CFS Prodotti Medicali S.r.l. uses Axerve by Banca Sella for online credit card payments via the secure 128-bit SSL3 protocol, which guarantees the security of sensitive information, along with an additional layer of verification thanks to Verisign (certified via Secure Server ID, which communicates exclusively with Banca Sella).
CFS will never have access to credit card details, as it only processes the data necessary for billing and shipping products.

TLS
TLS (Transport Layer Security) is a cryptographic protocol for secure online data transfer that allows you to achieve a higher level of security during transactions, partly due to the fact that Axerve applies version 1.2 or higher.

3D Secure
3D Secure is the anti-fraud protection system that guarantees additional security for online purchases and allows Axerve to validate transactions.
This security protocol links the customer's card to a personal, secret password, which is typically requested via SMS to authenticate the payment; this ensures you can always be certain that the payment is made by the authorized cardholder.

Suspicious activity
Axerve allows you to define countermeasures to be implemented when suspicious activity occurs, such as transactions of a significant amount or a high number of transactions within a limited timeframe.
When such events occur, you can choose to receive an alert so you can check the transaction personally, or have the system automatically reject the transaction.

PCI-DSS
The PCI (Payment Card Industry) DSS (Data Security Standard) is a set of requirements designed to ensure the security of credit and debit cardholder information, developed by the founding members of the PCI Security Standards Council, which include American Express, Discover Financial Services, JCB, MasterCard Worldwide, and Visa International.
